Carrot Walnut Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups grated carrots
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 175ยฐC and prepare a greased, floured cake pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Combine eggs, oil, and vanilla in a separate bowl, then mix into dry ingredients.
- Fold in carrots and walnuts.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and top with cream cheese frosting if desired.
