Carrot Walnut Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups grated carrots
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175ยฐC and prepare a greased, floured cake pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Combine eggs, oil, and vanilla in a separate bowl, then mix into dry ingredients.
  4. Fold in carrots and walnuts.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool and top with cream cheese frosting if desired.
