Homemade Banana Cake Recipe 🍌

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups
  • Sugar: 1 cup
  • Eggs: 2
  • Ripe Bananas: 2
  • Milk: 1/2 cup
  • Vegetable Oil: 1/2 cup
  • Baking Powder: 2 teaspoons
  • Vanilla Extract: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped Walnuts (optional): 1/2 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease or line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the Bananas: In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add Eggs and Sugar: Add the sugar and eggs to the mashed bananas and beat until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  4. Incorporate Oil and Milk: Add the oil and milk to the banana mixture and stir well.
  5. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, gently folding until you have a smooth batter.
  6. Add Walnuts (Optional): If using, fold in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Bake the Cake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Serve: Allow the cake to cool before removing it from the pan. Slice and enjoy your delicious homemade banana cake! For added taste, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate.
