Shop of Lies’: Rajnath Singh Fires Back at Rahul Gandhi’s Remarks on India-China Border Dispute 🇮🇳🗣️
India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has strongly refuted statements made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding the ongoing India-China border dispute. During his visit to the U.S., Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s handling of the conflict, claiming that Chinese troops occupy 4,000 square kilometers of Indian territory, including parts of Ladakh. Speaking at the National Press Club in Washington, Gandhi described the situation as a “disaster” and questioned Modi’s response to the incursion.
In response, Singh took to social media, calling Gandhi’s claims “misleading” and “beyond facts.” Singh accused Gandhi of spreading falsehoods and damaging India’s reputation abroad, suggesting that Gandhi has turned his “shop of love” into a “shop of lies.” The heated exchange comes as Gandhi continues his three-day U.S. tour, where his remarks have sparked further political tension between the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress party.
